چکیده
<p><strong>Background</strong><strong>.</strong> Bamboo forests are an alternative to mitigate the effects of climate change, doe high growth rate, however, in Mexico there few studies on its biomass and carbon storage. <strong>Objective.</strong> Estimate inventory stored stands <em>G. aculeata</em> Rupr. forest management unit numbered 2103, Puebla, Mexico. <strong>Methodology</strong>. The necreomass were sampled through square sites 100 m2, normal diameter at 1.30 m all culms present each site was measured, litter 1 m2 weighed samples taken determine content culm, branches, leaves, roots, litter. An analysis variance a Tukey’s means comparison test carried out. <strong>Results</strong>. It determined that dry base total average 308.05 ± 10.13 Mg ha-1, which 139.09 6.81 ha-1 correspond carbon; study area 19,714.91 61.87 t 8,901.63 435.78 estimated. Fixed 46 0.4%, 44 42± 0.2%, 42 0.5% 38 1.0% for culms, foliage, litter, respectively; being different culm branches with found root, <strong>Implications.</strong> Although contribution foliage low, these most dynamic structural components represent photosynthetic machinery production. <strong>Conclusions</strong>. natural have like tree species, so it is advisable conserve them establish plantations allow sustained capture over time.<strong></strong></p>

Estructura, Biomasa a\'erea y carbono almacenado en los bosques del Sur y Noroccidente de c\'ordoba
We estimated the aerial biomass and stored carbon in twelve types of forests in the department of Córdoba with annual rain fall ranging from 3000 mm (super humid climates) to 1300 mm (semihumid climate). Biomass was estimated based on structural aspects of the vegetation (diameter at breast height, total height, and wood specific weight). We tested nine allometric equations for tropical forests...
متن کاملCarbon storage estimation of Moso bamboo (Phyllostachys pubescens) forest stands in Fujian, China
Moso bamboo (Phyllostachys pubescens) forest is one of the important terrestrial forest ecosystems with a high potential for carbon fixation. However, the estimation of carbon storage in Moso bamboo stands has shown great variation in methods and results. A detailed field survey of 27 plots (10 m × 10 m) was conducted to investigate carbon storage of pure Moso bamboo stands in Jian-ou city, a t...
